Job Title: Business Development Intern


Job Summary:


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business development within the IT industry. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and supporting various business development initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data and prepare reports to support business development strategies.
  • Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels such as online research, social media, and networking events.
  • Relationship Building: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with potential clients and partners.
  • Client Communication: Support the Business Development Manager in communicating with clients, including responding to inquiries and scheduling meetings.
  • Presentations: Help prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients showcasing the company's products and services.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations, and other business development materials.
  • CRM Management: Update and maintain the customer relationship management (CRM) system with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Event Participation: Support the planning and execution of business development events, such as trade shows, webinars, and networking events.
  • Documentation: Maintain organized records of business development activities and client interactions.
  • Scheduling: Assist in scheduling meetings and coordinating calendars for the Business Development team.
  • Other Tasks: Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the Business Development team.


Requirements:

  • Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Previous internship or work experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Research Skills: Ability to conduct thorough market research and analysis.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM software.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work effectively in a team.
